Our home meet was Thursday, Oct. 2, with a beautiful course around the lake in Sleepy Eye. It was a hot 90 degrees and dry, making the course more challenging than last year. We had a mixture of new personal records and others who became sick due to the heat. Cross country is a sport for those who enjoy a true challenge.
St. Mary’s Elementary focuses on a different virtue each month and acknowledges students who demonstrate that virtue. During September, the virtue was faith. These students were selected by their teachers because of how they demonstrate the virtue of faith.
