Community meeting will address food need caused by federal shutdown
A community meeting will be held Thursday to find solutions to the increased need for food caused by the SNAP benefit pause and non-payment of federal contractors, federal workers and military families during the federal government shut down. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4:30-7:30pm at the New Ulm Library Meeting Room. Anyone who wants to help, has information or will be impacted is asked to attend. Zoom is available for virtual attendees.
