Hand-sewn legacy: the Divine Providence quilting circle welcomes new members
The Divine Providence auxiliary has been around even before the actual building was completed, according to its members. It was dreamed up as a way to support the nursing home by sewing necessary items like curtains and bedspreads. From there, the auxiliary formed a sewing and quilting group specifically to raise funds for general needs.
