In honor of Fire Prevention Week, the Sleepy Eye Fire Department hosted an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 8, which began at 6 p.m. The community was invited to attend to receive a free dinner, learn about fire prevention and watch demonstrations of the fire department’s equipment.
