Sleepy Eye High School senior Arian Saenz was recognized for earning the Academic All State award, on Saturday night, Dec. 10, at U.S. Bank Stadium. Saenz was among 14 Class 1A football players who were honored for the achievement, on the field before the High School All Star Game. Saenz received the award earlier from coach Joe Hoffmann at the Sleepy Eye Indians’ football awards program.
Academic All State awards are for seniors on the section playoff roster that have a 3.75 or higher cumulative grade point average over the course of their high school career.
