KNUJ’s Craig Hansen delivers checks of $700 each to Sleepy Eye Public Activities Director Cory Haala, left, and St. Mary’s Catholic Activities Director Bruce Woitas. The money for extra-curricular activities was raised during the KNUJ and SAM 107.3 Hole-in-One fundraiser in September. He thanked the event’s many sponsors, donors and course staff, and said it was their biggest fundraiser to date. A par 3 two-man scramble sponsored by River View Sanitation that was held on the golf course at the same time also raised nearly $5,000 for the Sleepy Eye United golf team.
