Former NFL lineman Tyler Marz, a standout high school athlete for Springfield, visited the 5th and 6th grade Sleepy Eye United football team after their practice on Aug. 25. Marz played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers, before spending time in the NFL from 2016 to 2021, with the Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Chargers, Carolina Panthers, and Miami Dolphins. Marz spoke to the youth about working hard, taking care of your teammates, and keeping up with school work and good grades. The kids asked some questions and enjoyed hearing about NFL players that Marz played with or against during his NFL career. Deb Moldaschel
