Paige Romberg and Cassie Heinrichs are Lions Club Students of the Month.
Sleepy Eye High School senior Paige Romberg is very active in FFA and serves as Chapter Secretary this year. She is also a member of the Honor Society. Paige has played volleyball and basketball throughout high school. Paige works at Schutz Family Foods and also grows and sells sweet corn each summer.
Paige said one of her strengths is being organized, which allows her to keep her priorities in check. “I’m also a hard worker which will help me be successful,” she said.
Paige said her mom has been the greatest influence in her life. “She has taught me how to be kind and helpful to others. She has also taught me many things that will help me when I go off to college and in the future.”

Plans following graduation: Paige plans to attend a four-year university and then pursue a masters degree in athletic training or physical therapy.
Hobbies: It’s more basketball for Paige—coaching youth basketball and playing AAU basketball.
St. Mary’s High School senior Cassie Heinrichs is busy with school activities and sports. She is treasurer of the Honor Society, Senior Class Secretary, on the Knowledge Bowl team and a member of the YES! Team. Cassie plays volleyball, basketball and softball and is in concert and pep band. She plays Taps for the Sleepy Eye Honor Guard and is also a student advisor with the Sleepy Eye EDA. She works at St. Mary’s, Schoenstatt, the Event Center and City Hall.
Cassie said she is a determined and hardworking person. “Setting high expectations for myself and working hard to attain goals will help me going forward,” she said. “I also enjoy volunteering and helping people. I want to make a difference.”
Cassie said her mom is her greatest influence. “She has taught me right from wrong, and how to be the bigger person. She instilled in me the desire to take pride in all the things I do. I hope I grow up to be just like my mom.”

Hobbies: Cassie enjoys reading, writing, sports, snowboarding, traveling and learning new things.
