The Knights opened well and kept pace with the Chargers for most of the first half Friday night. Nick Labat and Blake Steffensmeier hit key buckets to keep the Knights within two and three points of MVL in the first half. “Except for the last few minutes, I thought we played really well in the first half,” said Coach Tim Milliard.

In the second half, the Chargers applied the pressure and took ownership of the ball—out rebounding the Knights. Currans led for the Knights with 16 points and five rebounds. Steffensmeier put up seven points, followed by Brandon Wait with six.
