Students from the Sleepy Eye and Springfield FFA chapters, along with the Schwartz Farms Inc. college interns, attended Discovery Day at Schwartz Farms in late May, receiving a behind-the-scenes look at the family-owned business. They met with John Schwartz, discovered many career opportunities at the business by meeting with different departments, enjoyed a pork lunch and toured a sow farm.Submitted
