The SM-SE-NUC Cross Country team hosted their home meet on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club. With 10 teams running in the meet, fans packed the parking lot and overflow parking near the practice range. The day was sunny but with a cold strong breeze.
The Indians volleyball team hosted the Springfield Tigers on Tuesday, Sept. 27, for a 3-0 win: 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.
The Sleepy Eye Indians traveled to Slayton to play Murray County Central on Friday, Sept. 30. After the first quarter, Sleepy Eye and MCC were tied 0-0. However, the second quarter proved costly for the Indians as MCC scored 21 points to go into halftime up by three scores.

The St. Mary’s Knights hosted the Sleepy Eye Indians in the first of two crosstown volleyball matches on Thursday, Sept. 29. The Knights won the night and the two will meet again this Thursday, Oct. 6 at Sleepy Eye High School.

The Knights volleyball team played in the St. Clair Invitational tournament on Saturday, Oct. 1. They went 2-1 in pool play to earn the second seed in their pool and then beat Mountain Lake to advance to the championship game.
The River Valley Wildcats played their final regular season match on Thursday, Sept. 29, hosting Maple River.
