Schools receive donations from Hole in One fundraiser

Craig Hansen, of KNUJ and SAM 107.3 (center), presented checks for $672.50 to both St. Mary’s AD Bruce Woitas and Sleepy Eye Public AD Cory Haala, to be used for extracurricular activities. The funds are from the radio station’s $150,000 Hole in One fundraiser held at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club on Saturday, Sept. 17. Bryant Mages, Sleepy Eye United Head Golf Coach, on that same day organized the annual RVS two person par 3 Tournament that raised almost $2,000 for the SEU Golf team. All expressed much thanks to the golf club staff and school volunteers for helping to make these successful fundraisers.
