Eagles girls drop opening game

The New Ulm Eagles girls hockey team played their first game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 12 against the Packers of South St. Paul at Doug Woog Arena. The Packers scored three goals in the first period and another in the third, handing the Eagles a 4-0 loss.

Christensen runs in State CC Meet

SESM/SEPS/NUC Cross Country runner, Noah Christensen, competed in the State Cross Country meet on Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Olaf College in Northfield among a field of 159 runners. Coach Lisa Hagen said, “Our whole team is so proud of Noah, he had an amazing season and earned his position at state. It’s been a privilege to coach such a hard working, motivated athlete.
