STATE BOUND

Morgan Mathiowetz and her teammates react after she tied Friday’s Section 2A championship game with less than 22 seconds to play with a bucket near the rim while getting fouled and falling to the floor. She would sink the free throw to make it a three-point play and put St. Mary’s ahead. The Knights held on to beat BOLD 57-54 and advance to the Class A State Tournament. See page 12 for more on the game.
