The Knights boys basketball team hosted Mayer Lutheran on Thursday night, Feb. 24, and battled back from a 15 point deficit to win 55-50.
Did I say last week that the newspaper was going to look all new this week? I guess what I should have said was that the paper "might" look all new this week. It turned out that I was not the only one who needed to learn new stuff to start producing the paper through our new company.

The New Ulm Eagles boys hockey team entered Section 3A playoffs as the #1 seed and plowed through #8 seed Fairmont, 10-1, at home on Feb. 24.
The Indians girls basketball team was scheduled to play the Mustangs of BLHS, at hoe, on Tuesday, Feb. 22—a snow day. Activities Director Cory Haala was able to reschedule the game, after securing officials, on Thursday night.
A threatened snow storm on Feb. 22 canceled what was supposed to be the Lady Knights’ final regular season game against GHECML at Granada. It was not rescheduled but Coach Bruce Woitas was able to schedule one more game for the Knights before they headed in to Subsection playoffs. They traveled to Granite Falls to play Yellow Medicine East on Thursday, Feb. 24 and lost, 76- 74, as YME hit a buzzer beater.
SEHS sophomore Winsten Nienhaus (left) and St. Mary's freshman Wyatt Pollard ended the Eagles wrestling season at the Section Individuals tournament in Redwood Falls on Saturday, Feb. 26.
