You couldn’t have asked for a nicer day for the Huey Dedication on Sunday. (I can say that because I mostly stayed in the shade—so, okay, it was kind of warm.) I have a feeling that the nice day wasn’t really what drew people to Veteran’s Park.

In our town’s 150 years of existence the forever constant is that when we pull together as a community and set our sights on achieving a successful outcome for all, our mark is never missed. Summerfest 2022, celebrating the Hog Days of summer was and is a prime example of this patronage. This community, its various city departments and its sponsoring businesses stepped up in the fashion that we are accustomed to and delivered a truly memorable and celebratory weekend for all.
