Where’s My Guitar, Darling?

I am an Episcopalian, an American citizen with a college degree, a published author, I have a great many more important concerns than trying to navigate the Delta Air Lines website to purchase a flight to MSP but I have now wasted an hour and a half and worked myself into a crimson rage trying to delete two expired credit cards from the site and put in a new one, and luckily for me I’m a liberal Democrat so I don’t own a gun, otherwise this laptop would be full of holes and cops in camo would be pounding on my door.

To the Editor,

I’d like to apologize to residents for not being able to attend our recent town meetings with Senator Dahms. As chair of the Minnesota House Ways and Means Committee, I have been in daily meetings with legislative leaders as we try to find compromise on numerous budget proposals in order to finish our legislative work for 2025. Because of this, I was unable to leave St. Paul in order to make the town meetings.

Riding Downtown to the Cowboys

The family took the subway downtown to a dance performance as a favor to the one dance fan in our midst and she thanked us for it afterward. “Thank you for indulging me, I really loved this,” she said. People ought to do that more often. Me, for one. My wife and daughter leave the apartment for hours, leaving me to work in silence. It seems awkward to say, “Thank you for going away,” so I don’t.
