January’s Outstanding FFA Members of the Month
Jaelynn Schauman is a junior at Sleepy Eye Public and has been involved in FFA for five years. Jaelynn joined FFA because she heard about the exciting activities and events she could be a part of and she was looking forward to being a part of a fun and great organization. She is the Chapter Officer Team Reporter this year and enjoys taking pictures during events and helping out with the chapter’s Instagram social media. Jaelynn is on the Milk Quality & Products CDE team. She likes the team because she really enjoys tasting the cheeses and identifying the dairy and non-dairy products. Since joining FFA and Ag. classes, Jaelynn has learned how to be a better communicator and has become more social through the many events FFA has to offer. She is most looking forward to going to Timberland Camp this summer because it’s always so fun and she has the best time. The achievements Jaelynn is most proud of earning are getting 4th Pace Team at State for Milk Quality, the Chapter Top Scholar Award, and the Phoenix Award.
