The River Valley Wildcats ended the regular season at Maple River on Sept. 22, with a 6-1 loss.

Weather conditions were perfect for Tuesday’s [Sept. 9] meet at Norwood Young America. The course is a beautiful wooded path through Baylor park, making it a favorite for our runners.
The Sleepy Eye Indians faced off against GFW and the St. Mary’s Knights played Wabasso on Tuesday, Sept. 9, both at home. Both matches ended in victory for the Sleepy Eye teams.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin and Minnesota Congressional Representatives Brad Finstad and Michelle Fischbach stopped by Christensen Farms on Aug. 30 as part of Zeldin’s Midwest tour of visits with state, local and federal partners, farmers and stakeholders. The Brown County Sheriff’s Department and the Minnesota State Patrol provided security and additional help.

After successfully hosting Sleepy Eye’s first farm safety event and presenting at the Brown County State Fair, Kylie Fischer won first place at the Minnesota State Fair in the 4-H Youth Leadership division. She was also nominated for the Community Impact Award.
