Businesses, organizations, present at Chamber event

The Sleepy Eye Chamber of Commerce hosts Business to Business Education and Networking Luncheons several times each year. The most recent was held Thursday, April 20 at the Sleepy Eye Event Center. Presenters included Tech Unlimited, Little Sprouts Learning Center, Junior Achievement, Brown County FREE Fair, and Balchem. Each described their business or organization and shared interesting information that people in the community might not have previously known.

Junior Achievement Donation

First Security Bank presented a donation of $2,000 to Junior Achievement. Erica Kimsey, JA District Manager, said, “The donation will help over 350 Sleepy Eye students get access to Junior Achievement programming which prepares young people with the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
