Familiar faces leaving Sleepy Eye Public School

On April 23, the Sleepy Eye Public School Board accepted the resignations of Pat Stevermer, the community education director, and Kathy Ahlrich, the elementary school’s administrative assistant. Both women have a long history of dedicated service with Sleepy Eye’s public schools, as Stevermer has held her role since 1979 after serving as a home economics teacher and Ahlrich began working at the elementary school as an office assistant in 2002.

School board approves a number of personnel changes

Among other personnel actions approved at the District #84 School Board meeting on April 23, were the retirements of two long-time school district employees: Kathy Ahlrich, Elementary Administrative Assistant at the end of May; and Pat Stevermer, Community Ed. Director at the end of June. In addition, Business Manager Amanda Boomgarden’s resignation, effective April 11, was approved.
