Charges: 13 felonies after man threatens police chief, officers
A Sleepy Eye man with a history of mental illness and run-ins with the law faces a raft of new charges following a 10-hour episode of erratic, threatening behavior last week that caromed between Main Street businesses, his home, Ross Park Apartments and eventually police custody, according to criminal complaints.One person who Shane Allen Peterson frightened during the ordeal told police it seemed like he was on drugs.
