Hope everyone had a good book or movie to cozy up with to ride out this chilly weather! Thanks to the non-fiction grant we received, 137 of the 156 books ordered have arrived and are available for check out. Senator Gary Dahms Announces Senate Power-Sharing Agreement, Committee Assignments

St. Paul, MN – On Sunday, January 12, leaders from the Senate DFL and Republican caucuses announced a historic organizing agreement to govern the work of the Senate while it exists with a 33 – 33 tie. The agreement passed as a resolution on the Senate floor on Tuesday, January 14, the first day of the 2025 session.

Finstad Reintroduces Legislation Making Federal Infrastructure Funding More Accessible for Rural Communities

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Jan. 16, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) and Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) introduced the Protecting Infrastructure Investments for Rural America Act, legislation that would make funding under the Rural Surface Transportation Grant Program -- also known as the Rural Grant Program -- more accessible for rural communities by removing barriers that currently put rural America at a disadvantage.
