Mayor’s Message

Good fortune gave me the opportunity to attend the recent open house of the AmericInn hotel here in town. I was excited to learn of their plans going forward. The manager, Lacie Lampman, and staff spoke of a myriad of renovation plans that will be taking place over the next months. It seemed to me that they had just completed a total renovation so I was surprised to hear that they were planning more renovations and updates. In the course of our conversation, they also stated that this past quarter (three month period), was the most profitable the company has experienced. The hotel, well run as it is, is a great addition to the community. It’s good to hear that it is going well at AmericInn.
