I struggled a bit with what to write for you this month.

I would like to start this article with a statement that “there is a God.” A couple of weeks ago I stumbled onto a Facebook group that debates the existence of God.

A pastor has the privilege of visiting with people at their lowest.

Over the years I have talked with various counselors and pastors who have sought to minister to people who have suffered physical abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, and/or emotional abuse (either verbal or nonverbal).Sometimes the term “abuse” is misused to describe someone else’s words or actions we simply don’t agree with.

We have a new Bible study for women at the Methodist church, and as I was waiting for class to start (the leaders had asked me to open with prayer), I was standing next to two ladies and I asked them what kind of Bibles they were using; I was genuinely curious to see which translation of the Bible they enjoyed.
