Friends of Fort Ridgely to hold reorganization meeting
Submitted The Friends of Fort Ridgely will hold a reorganization meeting on Tuesday, August 30. The gathering will be at the Upper Picnic Shelter at Fort Ridgely State Park beginning at 7 p.m.

Class offers exploration of nature
Submitted On July 11, 12, and 13, six participants explored nature during an outdoor education class led by Deb Reinarts and Mary Beth Botz, science teachers at SEPS and St. Mary’s School respectively, and Nate Fore, Pheasants Forever Farm Bill Biologist.
Support for museum and historical society

Pat Stevermer Community Education Director Registration materials have been mailed to families planning to participate in Discovery Time (for 3 year olds) or Voluntary Pre-K (for 4 year olds). Preschool doesn’t start until August 29 but there is a lot of preparation that takes place prior to that date.
