The gift of spiritual intimacy between spouses
I remember as a child, we as a family, would attend (read “be dragged to”) various wedding anniversaries of old people. (They had to have been in their 60s!) Everyone dressed up in their Sunday-go-to-meeting clothes. There always seemed to be cake and mints (read “lots of sugar”) to eat.
Sleepy Eye GFWC Woman’s Club
The Sleepy Eye Woman’s Club met at the SEMC on June 17. The focus of the meeting was health and wellness. Abby Schwartz gave a presentation about her job as an occupational therapist. Club members were given a tour of the facility including the new pediatric gym. Members were introduced to Dynavision D2, a multi-sensory board used to evaluate and treat a patient’s visual, motor, and cognitive skills.
