The following information is from the Planning and Zoning department at the City Office: There is a new process to apply for building permits. Getting to the link for the application is still the same, go to our website at sleepyeye-mn.com, on the Home page scroll down to the icon area, look under Doing Business for Services, then Permits. On the permit page click on Building Permit Information & Application. On the Building Permit page scroll down to BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION. This gets you to a new portal, called Civic Review, to apply for building permits.
