Popular author draws a crowd

“I want to tell you some stories,” Minnesota author William Kent Krueger said, standing at the front of a packed room at the Sleepy Event Center on Wednesday evening, April 23. “I think of myself primarily as a storyteller. We think of stories as entertaining us, but they also enlighten us and inspire us.”

This month has flown by as we were busy with paintings, story times, programs on circus legends, William Kent Krueger author visit, book club and holding our last Spice Tour of the year. But we aren’t done with activities yet! We are offering an after school jigsaw puzzle challenge on Wednesday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. for kids ages 6-12, stop in or call to register.

He is Risen! Your sins are forgiven!
