Our world continues to be a place filled with pain and grief. We have seen violence, war, political turmoil, and such horrible things over the past few months. It makes me wonder: what can draw us back together as a community? What can gather us as people with diverse and sometimes opposing ideas? How can we root ourselves in hope?

Last spring we welcomed a new Pope in the Catholic Church - you may have heard of him?! Pope Leo XIV (14th) is the first American Pope, and it seems like he is loved by everyone. We are so excited to have him as our “al habayit” (Isa 22 and Mt 16), which means “one over the house.” He is a steward, awaiting Jesus’ return, He who is our only King. To much of the world, he is a strong spiritual voice.
