St. Mary’s Church held their annual festival on Sunday. It was a warm but breezy day and the church grounds were full with fest-goers of all ages.

All the traditional items were on display—garden produce, baked goods, quilts, and themed baskets. The sound of music could be heard for blocks around, and the clip-clop of horses hooves added to the atmosphere. There were games for kids and plenty of food, including hamburgers, tacos, pie and a full dinner in the church basement.

The festival is a celebration to be enjoyed by parishioners, community members and visitors alike. A couple from Indiana, passing through town on a road trip, saw the church steeples and decided to check out the building. They were delighted to find the church festival in full swing, taking photos and disappearing into the church for more delights.
