After working at Hope and Faith Floral for two and a half years, lead designer Amy Schwab has purchased the New Ulm and Sleepy Eye stores from the owner of the Madelia-based business.

Schwab, of New Ulm, said she started working at Hope and Faith part-time while she was going to nursing school. “I loved the creativity of the work and started to realize that nursing wasn’t the right choice for me,” said Schwab. “A full-time position opened at the store and I happily accepted it.”

When the opportunity came to purchase the two locations, Schwab jumped in and took over on July 1. Schwab manages the New Ulm store and is happy to have Kelly Blick as her manager in Sleepy Eye.

Flowers will continue to be the shop’s main focus, said Schwab. “And, we’ll also still have fudge, home decor, gifts, jewelry and purses.” The only change she has in mind is to discontinue the sale of clothing. So, get ready ladies - Crazy Days is coming and there will be some lovely bargains at Hope and Faith Floral.
