The St. Mary’s boys team defeated GFW 201 to 230 and the girls won, 253 to 255 in a dual match Tuesday, April 14. St. Mary’s Ryan Heinrichs was medalist with the low score of 42. Other boys individual scores: Andrew Neid -47, Jaden Sellner - 55, Nick DeMaris - 57, Dylan Owens - 61, Jaden Krebs -72.
Sarah Surprenant had the low score for the winning girls team at 58. Other girls scores: Anna Miller - 59, Alyssa Rubey - 60, Bailey Rutscher - 76, Megan DeMaris -77.
St. Mary’s boys and girls golf teams each lost to Wabasso in a dual meet Thursday. The boys lost by 14 strokes, 208 to 194. The girls match was closer, losing by only two, 237 to 235. Heinrichs continued his winning ways this season as medalist with a low score of 41. Andrew Neid - 42, Jaden Sellner - 52 and Jaden Krebs - 73 completed the scoring for St. Mary’s. Low scorer for the girls team was Alyssa Ruby at 51 strokes. Sarah Surprenant - 52, Megan DeMaris - 61 and Bailey Rutscher rounded out the St. Mary’s team scores.
