United Way of Brown County is hosting the Perfect Pairings event on Sunday, April 12 at Turner Hall in New Ulm. A gourmet four-course meal will be paired with four different beers selected by brewmaster Ted Marti.

United Way of Brown County is hosting the Perfect Pairings event on Sunday, April 12 at Turner Hall in New Ulm. A gourmet four-course meal will be paired with four different beers selected by brewmaster Ted Marti.

Guests will be welcomed with a bottle of traditional Schell’s beer and Ted will provide information and entertainment between courses as a taste of each specialty beer is served. 1919 Root Beer will be available for guests who prefer an alternative.

Doors open at 5:30 and the meal will begin serving at 6:15. A silent and live auction will also be held. Tickets can be purchased at the chamber offices in New Ulm and Sleepy Eye or by calling the United Way office at 354-6512. All proceeds from this event will be used to support the Imagination Library, a literacy program sponsored by the United Way.
