On Saturday, March 2, the River Valley Speech team, made up of students from Springfield and Sleepy Eye, took third place at the Montevideo Thunder Hawk Speech Invitational. Earning first place champion medals were St. Mary’s student Meriden Andres in drama (left) and SEHS student Lily Kallevig in extemporaneous reading. Andres and Kallevig are displaying the team’s third place plaque.Submitted
