Lent

Two weeks from now, on March 5th, we begin Lent in the Catholic Church. Ash Wednesday begins with the invitation of conversion - an internal renewal, to dedicate extra attention and time to our prayer life. We offer penance or sacrifices to amend our personal life and relationship with God. The Catholic Church gives us forty days to contemplate our own souls and our journey in this world and to the next life.
