Tight daycare market gains a little wiggle room
Efforts to expand childcare capacity in Sleepy Eye received a small boost recently when Little Sprouts Learning Center secured a new lease that gives it a little more room to operate.The daycare provider, which opened in 2018 with public funding, hopes the additional space will allow it to increase its licensed infant spots to 12 from eight, said board president Cody Groen said.
