The GFW T-Bird Community Arts will be conducting auditions for all roles for the fully staged Broadway version of “Beauty and the Beast” on Sunday, May 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Monday, May 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the GFW Jr./ Sr. High School Auditorium in Winthrop.
The Sleepy Eye Holiday Lights in Motion group is seeking volunteers to assist in clean up at Sportsmen’s Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 29. Any amount- of time you can give will be appreciated. The tasks will include picking up sticks and garbage. Service Hours available.

And, although we cannot take everyone to the islands, we can invite them to our annual Caribbean Knight Party on May 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Join us for a night in the “tropics” with tropical drinks, delicious food, games, pull tabs, raffles, and a live and silent auction. In addition, the band “Up South” will provide the live music. This is an event that will make you forget all about the endless Minnesota winter as you have a fantastic time with family and friends.
