Minnesota North College announced that Lane Trebesch of Sleepy Eye was named to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2022 for earning a GPA of 3.25 or higher. The University of Minnesota Twin Cities announced the following students from Sleepy Eye were named to the 2022 fall semester Dean’s List for attaining a 3.66 GPA: Katelyn Capacia, Brooklyn Moldan, and Reagan Severson.

Christine Ann Gullickson, 43, of Franklin, formerly of Sleepy Eye, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. Memorial Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. SSTC issues call for Director

State Street Theater in New Ulm is putting out an open call as it seeks a director for its summer musical production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” (Enchanted Edition). This charming version of the story brings a modern touch and humor to the classical fairytale.

Dyckman Free Library News

Happy Spring from the Dyckman Free Library! At least the calendar says it should be spring…We are looking forward to next week’s activities, starting with the After School Activity for kids ages 5 – 10 on Wednesday, March 29 at 3:30 p.m. They will be trying their hand at watercolor painting. Stop in or call 794-7655 to register. Also on the 29th at 6:30 p.m. will be the Adult Cookie Decorating event. We have reached our max capacity for that event but plan to hold more later in the year due to the amount of interest in the activity.
