News from the Chief

Stolen vehicles have become an issue in Sleepy Eye and the surrounding counties. To my knowledge all the vehicles that have been stolen were unlocked with keys in them, or close to them in a garage. Please keep your vehicle locked and take the keys out of your vehicle. If you lock your garage that is a good level of protection against vehicle theft. If your vehicle is left outside, please lock it and take the keys with you.

Dyckman Free Library News

Greetings from the Dyckman Free Library. Our staff have been busy training on new software that will go into effect March 2. The transition to the new software should be seamless with very little affect to our patrons. One temporary change will be the suspension of MNLink items starting February 6 until we go live March 2. We use MNLink if we cannot locate a specific item within our own system of Traverse des Sioux (TDS). Since we have a robust collection within TDS we do not need to use MNLink very often so hopefully this temporary freeze will go unnoticed.
