•Gymnastics: The Redwood Area Cardinals hosted Jackson County Central on Dec. 20 and won the very close meet,125.25 to 125.20. Chloe Walter finished 5th in All-Around with 23.300 points. Her top event was Floor, which she finished in 2nd place for 8.300 points. Coach Dean Wilson said, “Chloe’s floor was awesome.”
With snow days ruling, the Indian girls basketball team had no games the week of Dec. 13 and got in just one last week, a home girls/ boys doubleheader with Nicollet on Tuesday, Dec.
With weather conditions conspiring to keep high school athletes off the courts as Christmas vacation approached, the Knights boys basketball team managed to get in one game, Tuesday, Dec. 20, at home against Wabasso. The game was a re-scheduled event when the original date of Dec. 15 was snowed out.
