I am writing this article on the afternoon of Nov. 3. You probably remember, it was an overcast day, and the weather report called for rain and dropping temperatures. It is warm and safe in my office, my dog is sleeping peacefully next to my chair.

Christensen runs in State CC Meet

SESM/SEPS/NUC Cross Country runner, Noah Christensen, competed in the State Cross Country meet on Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Olaf College in Northfield among a field of 159 runners. Coach Lisa Hagen said, “Our whole team is so proud of Noah, he had an amazing season and earned his position at state. It’s been a privilege to coach such a hard working, motivated athlete. Stevermer re-elected

The Nov. 8 City Council meeting started at 8:01 p.m. as government meetings cannot be held while the election polls are open. With a short agenda, the meeting adjourned at 8:15, just as the election judges completed tallying the votes at the Community Center. In unofficial results, Councilor-at-Large Nate Stevermer received 853 votes and Rajeana Wick had 252. The council will canvas election results at noon on Nov. 16.
