The Sleepy Eye Downtown Revitalization Committee, in cooperation with the Sleepy Eye EDA, will use a $10,000 Blandin Foundation Leadership Boost Grant to continue their efforts to make residents and visitors alike feel the downtown district is a great place to be.

A group of happy volunteers posed for a photo at the Food for Kidz packaging event at the Sleepy Eye Event Center on Sunday, Nov. 13. Organizers said the 150 volunteers packaged just under 72,000 meals. Monetary donations are still needed.
