For the 18th year, volunteers will gather in Sleepy Eye to package food for the hungry, through the program of Food for Kidz - Stewart, MN. As he has each year, Rick Mages is spearheading this event, with the help of fellow Knights of Columbus members and area church and school groups, which will be held on Sunday, Nov.

The 95th National FFA Convention took place Oct. 25-29 in Indianapolis. In attendance were over 60,000 FFA members and guests from around the country, along with some of our own dedicated members. The city was encompassed with the colors of blue and gold as FFA members spread the message of agriculture. Members learned how to be successful in life and met many new members from across our nation.

Let me begin by saying that the Babe Ruth 100th Anniversary Celebration that took place on October 15 was a great day! Hours of family fun and baseball related activities at the ball field, and then an awesome program afterwards at the brewery with interesting speakers and performers.
