Christensen advances to State

The SESM/SEPS/ NUC Cross Country team competed in the Section 2A meet on Thursday, Oct. 27 at Norwood-Young America. St. Mary’s sophomore Noah Christensen had another successful run, finishing in 5th place to earn a place in the State Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5 at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

Sleepy Eye FFA members attend the 94th National FFA Convention

The 95th National FFA Convention took place Oct. 25-29 in Indianapolis. In attendance were over 60,000 FFA members and guests from around the country, along with some of our own dedicated members. The city was encompassed with the colors of blue and gold as FFA members spread the message of agriculture. Members learned how to be successful in life and met many new members from across our nation.

October EDA update

Let me begin by saying that the Babe Ruth 100th Anniversary Celebration that took place on October 15 was a great day! Hours of family fun and baseball related activities at the ball field, and then an awesome program afterwards at the brewery with interesting speakers and performers.
