Kenneth Tom Meyer

ST. PAUL - Ken (Tom) (56) was born September 3rd, 1965, in Oakland California, and passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, in St. Paul Minnesota. Ken (Tom) graduated from Sleepy Eye Public School. Ken (Tom) grew up in Southern Minnesota on a farm, where he enjoyed farm life and farm animals. Ken (Tom) was a mechanic and had a passion for fixing cars and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Ken (Tom) loved Mountain Dew, Slim Jim’s, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but hated washing dishes and butchering chickens on Sundays. Ken (Tom) spent the last 27 wonderful years with his girlfriend Dawn and daughter Brandy. His love for them grew every day. He loved taking them to concerts. Every Friday Ken (Tom) would take Brandy to South China Island Inn. He spent time cooking Dawn’s favorite childhood meals. Ken (Tom), Dawn, and Brandy would go to the Minnesota State Fair every opening day, each year. The most recent concert Ken (Tom), Dawn, and Brandy attended together was the Zach Williams band in Iowa. Ken (Tom)’s love for Dawn and Brandy was so strong, he drove to New York for a hockey game, and Florida to swim with the dolphins. Always along for the ride was Ken (Tom)’s best friend Scooter, where he traveled everywhere with their family. Ken (Tom) is survived by his girlfriend Dawn M. Kirscher of 27 years of St. Paul Minnesota; daughter Brandy; son Robert of Fairmont Minnesota; best friend Scooter; sister Irene Zinniel (Jay Wolf) of Sioux Falls South Dakota; brothers Ron Myers (Kari) of Sleepy Eye Minnesota; Tim Myers of New Ulm Minnesota; nieces Cassandra Fritz (Matt) of Farmington Minnesota; Hannah Thom (Jacob) of Mankato Minnesota; nephews Joseph Zinniel (Amy) of Bloomington Minnesota; Matthew Zinniel (Maddy) of Elbow Lake Minnesota; Jonathan Myers of New Ulm Minnesota; Jordan Myers of New Ulm Minnesota; Colton Myers of Sleepy Eye Minnesota; Mason Myers of Sleepy Eye Minnesota; great-niece Quinn; great-nephews Finley, Theodor, Abram, and Beau; two beautiful granddaughters. Preceded in death Ken (Tom)’s mother Marcy Myers, father, and grandmother.

Leo R. Klotz

SLEEPY EYE - Leo R. Klotz, age 79, of Sleepy Eye, MN, died on February 11, 2022, at his home. Memorial Service will be held at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the church. The clergy will be Pastor Nathanael Mayhew. Interment will be at the Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
