After winning three games in a row, the Sleepy Eye girls softball team went into a losing skid which started with an 11-0 shutout loss to St. Marys back on April 30th.
The Sleepy Eye baseball team continues their quest for the first win of the season as they dropped two games last week in a double header against Minnesota valley Lutheran in New Ulm last Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday April 25, Sleepy Eye headed to participate in the Tomahawk Conference Tournament held at the Oakdale Golf Course.
After two wins in the previous week, putting their winning streak at three games, the Sleepy Eye Indians took the field at home against the Knights of St. Mary’s, on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, and took a defeat 11-0.
Errors and mistakes on the routine plays continue to plague the Sleepy Eye Indians varsity baseball team’s quest for the elusive first victory as they dropped their 8th and 9th games of the season last week.
