- A lunch room celebration
- In an effort to teach the elementary student body to respect everyone and act responsibly as part of Sleepy Eye Pride, a lunch room initiative was implemented. Grades who demonstrated these characteristics while in the lunch room were awarded points and the first class to reach 30 points received a golden lunch plate traveling trophy. The student body has been working on this initiative since the beginning of the year and the second grade class reached 30 points by October.
