But not for Sleepy Eye Public’s Lauren Laffen.
 
Laffen took second place overall at the Class A State Golf Meet at Pebble Creek Golf Course on June 11-12. Her final score was 167, just four strokes behind the leader. But not only did she achieve the best score in school history, she did it as a freshman.
