Rebranding Launch Open House Nov. 7, 1 to 3 p.m. at Ross Park Apartments.

Adult Day Services, a Volunteers of America program, has unveiled a new branding, adding “Bright Days” to its name, effective Nov. 7. At the heart of this rebrand is the company’s core focus on the whole customer experience. “We could not have picked a better name for the services we offer,” said Kathy Virnig, Program Director. “Bright Days are what we strive to provide every single day to seniors in our community.”

Adult Day Services has been part of the Volunteers of America Senior Campus for the past 19 years and they are excited to move forward with this name change. “We’re thrilled to introduce Bright Days Adult Day Services to the public, and let them know that although our name is changing, our services and mission will remain the same,” said Virnig.

Bright Days Adult Day Services offers organized person-centered day programs designed to help older adults and their families feel more at ease in a safe, nurturing and vibrant environment. Bright Days Adult Day Services is a great solution for both caregivers and those they care for. Virnig said, “Approximately 50 percent of our participants have somebody caring for them at home. I could be their spouse, adult children, or a relative. Bright Days Adult Day Services allows their loved one to received compassionate care in a community-based setting while enabling caregivers to remain in the workforce or receive needed respite and support.”

The other 50 percent of their participants live at home alone and need socialization opportunities, as well as assistance with daily activities. Bright Day Adult Day Services helps families address those needs. Butch Kosak, a participant at the Sleepy Eye location, said, “It’s a great place to visit to keep yourself busy and I love the staff.” Laurel Beilke, another participant at the Sleepy Eye center, said, “The staff treats us like family and they really do make my days brighter.”

Bright Days Adult Day Services has two state-certifed locations: Sleepy Eye and New Ulm. Program hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bright Days Adult Day Services would like to invite the public to their Rebranding Launch Open House taking place on Nov. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Ross Park Apartments in Sleepy Eye. There will be treats and refreshments, musical entertainment,, raffle prizes and tours of the center. Those who attend will also get the chance to win a Google Home Mine.
