The Knights hosted GFW Thursday, May 3, winning both games of the doubleheader. Coach Wendy Owens liked the defensive support her pictchers from their teammates, Leah Weiss in game one and Mallory Helget in the second game.

Coach Owens said this was a game they wanted going into the next week, “Double A school coming to town to play us is what we needed.”

St. Mary's spent a warm and sunny Saturday, May 5, at the Wabasso Varsity Invitational. The Lady Knights played three games, with the first being a real nail-biter against Benilde-St. Margaret's.

An outmatched MVL team went down hard, when they faced the Knights on their home field, Monday, May 7. Coach Owens was pleased to get all the girls some good playing time, as MVL does not have a JV team.
